SUNDAY 20th April Hersham 2 Casuals "A" 0

Complete farce with only ten players turning and up one of them should not have been playing as awaiting an operation. The game that was so inportant to us for the decision on wether we made div 6 or not turned into a waste of time. That said Casuals dominated the game but could not find the killer touch and it was only after Casuals were reduced to seven fit players following injuries to Mike & Sam that Hersham scored twice in the last 7 minutes.Must say a special thanks to our defence who played outstanding and to all the players who bothered to turn up.

Luke thanks for playing with your problem and Mike & Sam for carrying on even with your injuries.

SUNDAY 6th April Prince of Wales V Casuals "A" snowed off

SUNDAY 30th March Casuals "A" v Hersham rained off

SUNDAY 9th March Prince of Wales 4 Casuals "A" 4

Stunning fixture real game to watch with Casuals going 2 down in the first 20mins but pulling a goal back only to go 3-1 down. But by halftime all square at 3-3.

Into the second half Casuals were starting to have more and more possesion and went 4-3 up.Continued to create chances but failed to take them and Prince of wales equalised with the last kick of the game.Goal scorers for casuals Ben Barry Harry and Richard.

SUNDAY 2nd March Casuals 0 New Haw 1

Once again injury causes major problems for Casuals with the loss of skipper Simon just prior to half time with a severe doscolated shoulder still we keep the paramedics busy!!!

Very even game and points should have been shared but New Haw nicked a goal late in the second half .

SUNDAY 17th Febuary Air Products 1 Casuals 2 (League)

Stayed with the same formation as last week and once again performed well.Good flowing football bit scrappy at times but Casuals deserved the result in fact but for some fantastic saves by the Air products keeper could well have ended in double figures.Goals from Sam and Harry gave Casuals a well deserved win.Once again fine performance from the referee Charlie Ford

SUNDAY 10th February Casuals 7 Cheam Village 0 (League)

With some players still missing through injury but with others back in we at last could try a new formation and it did the trick. From K.O. Casuals were driving forward and playing flowing football going in at halftime 2-0 up.Second half continued in the same and Casuals walked away with a well deserved victory and a very pleasing performance.Goals by Harry2, Barry2, Craig, Ben & Sam.Credit to Cheam their heads did not drop and continued to the end.Final note 10 out of 10 for referee Paul Squires great performance

SUNDAY 27th January Casual 0 Banstead Town 5 Challenge Cup qtr final

Dreadful start to the game 2-nil down after 10mins owing to bad referee's decisions but 4-nil down half time due to poor perfromance by Casuals also just before the break we lost Andrew with a broken leg.Second half saw a better performance by casuals but to little to late.

SUNDAY 20th January Prince of Wales v Casuals League Posponed

SUNDAY 13th January Casuals v New Haw League posponed

SUNDAY 6th January Warrenmead 1 Casuals "A" 1 Charity Cup

  1 -1 after extra time

  3-1 penalties

As per our previous league meetings very balanced game but felt casuals just shaded the game and created the better chances but at the end of full time 1-1.Into extra time with casuals the far fitter team and really dominating the game and had chances to win it but was not to be.Penalties decided the fixture Casuals going down 3-1

SUNDAY 23rd December Casuals 4 Glynn Old Boys 0 (Friendly)

Both teams hit by illness but as usual played in good humour but with both teams out to win.Goals by Ben2, Harry and Andrew gave Casuals the result which the amount of possesion and advantage desereved

SUNDAY 17th December Casuals v Banstead Town (charity Cup) posponed

SUNDAY 9th December Melrose 3 Casuals 3 (League)

Super start by Casuals 2-nil up after 20 minutes but as so often the case with Casuals they went to sleep in the second half losing the lead and only a goal 7minutes fron time saved casuals the point.Casuals goals Chris,Craig and Andrew.

SUNDAY 2nd December New Haw 3 Casuals 1 (League)

In dreadful playing conditions both teams put on a good display of football. The result flatures New Haw as the game very even but 2 goalkeeping errors caused it must be said by the dreadfull conditions gave New Haw 2 soft goals.Casuals goal scored by Craig

SUNDAY 25th November Lind Athletic 1 Casuals 0 (League)

Talk about groundhog day once again Lind had 2 chances and scored once the other a great save from Jason.Casuals dominated for long periods of the game a created numbers of good chances but again failed to find the back of the net.

SUNDAY 18th November Casuals 2 Warrenmead reserves 2 (League)

As per our away fixture against them very close game and the draw a fair result.Good football on display from both teams and once again referee allowed the game to flow.Goals from Craig secured Casuals the point.

SUNDAY 11th November Casuals 1 Prince of wales 0 (Challenge Cup )

Great cup tie both teams playing good passing football and in the spirit of the game.Honours even at half time Casuals pushed hard from the second half whistle and eventually the goal came from Craig.Once again Casuals missed chances finish of the game but they went begging.Five minutes from time Prince of Wales almost equalised when a long range effort hit the crossbar.

Good performance from both teams pleasure to watch.Well done referee let the game flow.

SUNDAY 4th November Casuals 0 Lind Athletic 1 (League)

Casual first defeat of the season but once again by their own hands as early as the 1st minute they should have led but once again chance after chance went begging.Other than their messy goal from a corner Lind only had one other chance which was superbly saved by stand in keeper Chris.

To many points have been thrown away by poor finishing this season and could cost Casuals dearly!

SUNDAY 28th October Surbiton Dynamos 2 Casuals 2 (League)

First half performance by Casuals was dire to say the least and went in 2 down.Second half was a different team, passing game and long periods of domination rewarded by goals for Barry and Chris.Dynamos seem to be our jinx team as in the last fixture the got a iffy penalty in the last 3mins.This game 3mins from time Casuals scored what we all thought was the winner however was overuled by the ref for an earlier incident.

SUNDAY 21st October Casuals 10 Air Products 0 (League)

At last the passing game, good teamwork, chances taken & fresh football on display.Debuts for Scott & Sam both with good performances.Casuals took the lead straight from K.O. & went in 5-0 up at half time.Goalscorers Sam2 Craig2 Barry2 and second half sub Ben4.

Must mention a fantastic first half save from Jason in goal.

Special mention for the referee what a breath of fresh air ,good performance ref, played advantage well and in total control.Credit also must go to Air products at no time did their heads drop and battled to the end.

SUNDAY 14thOctober Cheam Village 1 Casuals 2 (League)

Casuals started really well going 2 nil up in the first 20 mins scored by Adrew & Barry but gave away a really stupid goal to go in at half time 2-1 up.

Second half got really scrappy with no real football on display and with injuries mounting casuals managed to hold on for the result.Still good news another 3 points.

SUNDAY 7th October Warren Mead Res 2 Casuals 2 (League)

Great performance from our makeshift team following injuries etc down to the bear 11 but credit where it's due the players played their socks off!

Casuals playing the ball around well went behind to a real soft goal, but fought back and soon drew level with a Barry strike. However shortly afterwards again gave away a soft goal to go in 2-1 down at half time.

Second half saw casuals once again playing the better football and with 12 mins to go levelled from a superb Luke freekick.

Special mention must be made to both Luke & Richard who both battled on despite picking up bad knocks in the first half but the whole team can feel well happy with their performance.Nice one Guys

SUNDAY 30th September Casuals 3 Motor racing Club 0 (Challenge Cup)

Casuals having to start with a makeshift central midfield but again domination of the game was overshadowed by the lack of finishing.Jason in Goal was called upon once to make a save but lost count of the number of chances that went begging at the other end.Goals from Craig 2 and Chris confirmed casuals through to the next round.

SUNDAY 23rd September Casuals 2 Surbiton Dynamos 2 (League)

Story of domination by casuals but lacking killer punch goals from Craig and luke should have seen casuals as winners but a very but a very iffy penalty decision gave Dynamos an equaliser 3mins form time.Still casuals should have killed of the game with the amount of possesion and oportunities they had.

Moral take your chances, goals win games and iffy decisions would not matter!

SUNDAY 16th September Casuals 3 Melrose 1 (League)

Opening game of the season Casuals started a bit shaky but soon found their feet in the first half casuals had a couple of chances to open the scoring but took a Ben Roberts goal to break the deadlock which they took into half time without Jason in goal having to make a save.Second half started in a similar vain Casuals creating chances but now with Melrose breaking and looking dangerous on the counter.Barry Stevens opened up their defence for a second Casuals goal. Not long after Jason pulled off a fantastic save to prevent Melrose scoring. With 10mins left Melrose won a freekick just outside the box which took a wicked deflection to beat the keeper.Casuals picked up the pace again and following Barry's persistance he scored his second and Casuals third.Casuals could have added another couple in the dying minutes but failed to capitolise.Good all round performance.

SATURDAY 1st September: Glyn Old boys 0 Casuals A 4 (friendly)

with players away we took the opportunity to play new signings in various roles and was pleased with the performances. The team shape overall for a first game together was good and link up play worked very well.Lot of work ahead though.
